American jazz musician Daniel McKay and Italian Tribunal Judge Maria Granata are a couple from different worlds who create a new world of their own together.  Joined together from the pieces of two lives, they form a new one with their children in a home that mixes their lives, their worlds, their teenage children, their problems and their joys.
